Blake was very brave last week. He had to get shots (see band-aids on legs) and he had to get his blood drawn (green thing on arm)...twice! Blake is in the 50th percentile for height (32.25 inches), but is way below the 5th percentile for weight (19lb). He has been consistently in the 50th percentile for height since birth. When he was born, Blake was just below the 50th percentile for weight. Since he has been dropping in percentiles for weight, the doctor decided we should run some tests just to be sure nothing is wrong. All of the labs measured came back normal, except for iron. (His hgb levels were 10 - normal is 11) So we will just give him iron supplements - no big deal. Blake is just genetically small, which is what we were guessing. I followed a similar pattern with my weight when I was a baby :)
