Sifting Dirt

This is what we will be doing this spring:

We are going to try and do our landscaping this year, so we need to sift all of the rocks out of the dirt around our house. Nathan built a really nice sifter, so we just put a shovel full of dirt on the sifter, the dirt goes to the ground and the rocks fall into a wheelbarrow. We are putting all of the rocks on the east side of our house so we can build that area up for a parking area. Luckily, the rocks are only in the dirt right around our house. The soil in most of our backyard is beautiful farm dirt (we have almost a half acre). Blake loves to "help" us with his new garden tools his Grandma and Grandpa Payne gave him for Easter!
