Golden Spike
A week ago Nathan had the day off work for MLK day. It also happened to be a free admission day to the National Parks, so we decided to get out of the house and go to Golden Spike since it was a beautiful day. Blake loves trains and we figured it wouldn't be too busy (which it wasn't) so we decided to take Nicole on her first outing. We had fun seeing the trains in the engine house and we watched a few short videos about the railroad. One of the movies was a Charlie Brown movie which Blake loved. Both of the kids slept the whole way there and Nicole slept most of the time we were there and the whole way home. On the way home we stopped by ATK and looked at the rocket display in their parking lot. Blake thought that was pretty neat too.

That sounds like great fun! It looks like something Benjamin would enjoy too. I'll put it on our things to do on a rainy day folder!
