Mini Vacation

A few weeks ago, Nathan had a 3-day weekend, so we went down to Salt Lake and Utah Counties. On Saturday we went and visited Nathan's Grandma so that she could meet Nicole for the first time. We had a wonderful time visiting and a great dinner with her.

Then we headed down to Utah county to stay with my Grandma and Grandpa Davis for the night. Blake had a great time with Grandpa's plane and truck collection...the only way we got him to go to bed was to ask him to park the vehicles for the night. He found a corner that he parked them in and the first thing he did in the morning was get the trucks and planes out again.
After a delicious breakfast Sunday morning with Grandma and Grandpa Davis, we went over to visit my Grandma Payne for a few hours. Blake had fun playing the marble game there and we all had a great time visiting before church.

We decided to go to our old ward in Provo so that we could see some friends. That was a lot of fun! Then we went up to Sandy to have dinner with my parents. Olivia came up for the night so that was fun too! Kyle also came over to meet Nicole.

Monday morning we went with my parents to the Church History Museum. They have a new exhibit for kids that I wanted to take Blake to. I didn't think of the fact that it would be crowded since schools were out for the day so we didn't spend a lot of time there - I will have to take him back another time. Before leaving Temple Square we had lunch at the Lion House.

It was a busy weekend, but we had a lot of fun seeing our family and friends!
