Nathan turned 30 this year :) On his birthday my parents, grandparents, aunt Paula, and sister Olivia came up for a day of work in our yard. They were worried about ruining his birthday by making him work, but he appreciated the help so much - it was a wonderful birthday gift for him! It would have taken the 2 of us a long time to get that many rocks moved! (we are trying to get ready to put in grass this spring)
Nathan and Blake on our new-to-us garden tractor. It also has a tiller attachment and mower deck. Nathan has been working hard getting cleaning it up. I'll post a better picture with the front piece on it sometime :)
We didn't work all day - we took a lunch break to go to the Bluebird. Tasty, as usual!
Everyone also gave Nathan a gas trimmer, extra line for it, oil, a gas can, and a gift card. He was so excited about it that he tried it out that evening.
Nathan wanted Banana Cream pie instead of cake, so I made 2. One had a regular pie crust and the other had a graham cracker crust.
And here are a few of Nicole as proof she was there too :)
