Blake turned 3!

This month Blake turned 3. He is such a fun boy! He can definitely throw a temper tantrum, but he is learning how to use his words to tell us what is wrong more and more. He loves cars, trucks, planes, trains. He loves sports. He loves "helping" his Dad. And he has quite the imagination! I think that we have gotten the whole potty training down. He still has accidents every so often but usually he is really good about staying dry and he only wears diapers to bed at night (which are dry in the morning the majority of the time).

We had a birthday celebration with my parents, Aunt Paula, Grandma & Grandpa Davis, and Nikki (Nathan's cousin who is living with us) on Aug 13. We celebrated both Blake and my Grandma Davis' birthdays. Everyone came up to our place which was really fun! We helped Nathan with sprinklers (more on that later), played around, went out to lunch at the Firehouse, and had cake and ice cream after opening gifts. What a day! Blake was spoiled!

On Blake's birthday we woke him up by singing to him and he opened gifts from Nathan & me and Nikki.


The 4 of us went out to pizza for dinner on his birthday and then had fun at the Willow Park Zoo.
Blake's favorite thing at the zoo was buying bird food and feeding the ducks!
