Payne Reunion

Friday and Saturday we went down to Fairview, Utah for our summer Payne Reunion at Mark and Connie's cabin. It was a lot of fun, as always! The kids slept nearly the whole way down Friday morning. We stopped for lunch at the cafe in Fairview (yes, I am pretty sure it is the only cafe in Fairview!). We ran into Leisel and her kids there and had a tasty lunch. After we ate, Blake kept asking for "rice cream" so we got 2 cones to share.
After lunch, we headed up the canyon to the cabin. We had a lot of fun visiting with everyone and playing games Friday. Nicole slept great during the night...Blake did not. But then Saturday Nicole refused to take a nap which made for a really long day for me - on the plus side though, she finally fell asleep as we were packing up and then on the way home she slept the entire 3 hours to Brigham City where we stopped for gas (so she had a 3.5+ hr nap!). From there, its only 20-30 min home.

I won some Baby Ruth's and Hot Tamales for answering 2 questions on the family history quiz. Blake was pretty excited to try those Hot Tamales! They have been his potty treats lately since he likes them so much!
