Maple Trees

Since we got some grass, we have been wanting some trees for our park-strip. After a lot of looking, we finally bought 2 Highland Park Maple trees on Saturday. We are really excited! Highland Park Maples are a Big Tooth Maple with a different root stock. Big Tooth Maples are the type of Maples that are in the canyons around Logan. They are more drought tolerant and don't grow as tall as some maples do. Our trees will likely get 30-40 feet tall, whereas some maples get to be around 80 feet tall. Now it just needs to stop raining so that we can work on sifting our dirt! It seems we have had only a handful of days this month that it has been dry enough to sift anything...oh well, I guess we need the rain too :)
