Homecoming Spectacular

A few weeks ago, we celebrated my mom's birthday down in Utah County. We met up with my parents, sister, aunt and grandparents to go to dinner. Then we all went to the Marriott Center at BYU for Homecoming Spectacular - a fantastic show. This year the women's chorus, ballroom dance company, young ambassadors, percussion ensemble, modern dance company, and philharmonic orchestra all performed. Blake was glued to the stage the whole time! Baby girl liked the music - every time it started up, she would start dancing :) Since the show got done at 9:30pm or so, I figured Blake would zonk out on the way to my grandparents' house (where the 3 of us stayed the night), but he didn't. We had cake and ice cream and my mom opened gifts while Blake played with my Grandpa's collection of Sinclair trucks and planes. Blake finally went to sleep around midnight - wow! We all had a lot of fun though!

Since we were in Utah County, the next day we took advantage of the chance to visit with some old friends and other extended family members. We also visited Olivia at her dorm - she is staying in the same hall I did as a freshman...only she is on the 2nd floor and I was in the basement. It was a really fun weekend!
