First motorcycle ride

Nathan's brother Kyle surprised Nathan by replacing his motorcycle chain a few weeks ago. Nathan had ordered a new chain and was hoping to work on it over the next week, but Kyle was up here and the next day replaced it for Nathan. Nathan was so excited to take it for a ride! The next morning (April 7) Nathan took Nicole on her first motorcycle ride.

As you can tell, she hated it! In fact one of our friends down the street said that he could hear Nicole over the motorcycle. It was a cold morning so that probably had a little to do with it. Blake on the other hand loved taking a ride with Nathan! Nathan has been so excited to be able to drive his motorcycle to work the past 2 weeks (when rain isn't forcasted anyways).

After the motorcycle rides we headed down to West Valley for the Rasmussen Easter Party. We ended up switching Nicole's carseat to face forward, which she loves! Blake kept complaining that Nicole had the blue carseat, but that was the only one of the 2 that could be set up to face back. We were tired of hearing the complaints so we just turned the seat around. I know "they" recommend sitting backwards til 2 years old now, but oh well. Both kids are happier now!
