Saturday Nathan and some of our wonderful neighbors poured the concrete for our patio. I am so excited! They did a really good job! It is about 20x30 feet. Blake's friend Max came over near the end of the pour and the two of them had fun playing in the gravel under the deck - they were filthy by the time Max left! We put Blake's hand-print in the cement, but we waited a little too long, so it didn't turn out the greatest - oh well. I will have to post a picture of the final product after Nathan finishes up cutting the lines into the concrete and the concrete is done curing - right now we keep a tarp over it :)Blake was so excited about the concrete truck. He still talks about it every so often. The night before, Nathan rented a tractor to put dirt over the sidewalk so the concrete truck wouldn't damage the sidewalk and Blake loved that too. He loves trucks, cars, trains, planes - anything along those lines!
